Solutions Design Engineering is part of the Global Engineering Services (GES) team. The Solutions team is made of the Concept Engineering (CANES – Concept Applications ‘N Estimating Solutions) and Firm Engineering (FIRE - Firm Engineering for initiatives, Retrofits and Emerging Countries). We are responsible for contracting potential MHE retrofit projects with MHE vendors and providing engineered solutions to Operations Engineering for installation. We work closely with many internal and external teams to develop MHE solutions, which allows us to deliver a variety of solutions. Our internal stakeholders include: Operations, WW Engineering, Finance, Safety, ACES, RME, and Operations Engineering.• Develop the concept design in to firm engineered design while applying:• Design and install standards (Amazon, industry & local AHJ requirements)• Lessons learned from previous and similar projects• Local knowledge by working with site operations, safety and RME. • Key aspect of Firm Engineering process is to identify changes and deviations from RFP and proposal agreements.
