We, the AB Third Party (AB3P) Integrations team are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Solutions Architect to contribute to the development of the Amazon Business API (AB API) ecosystem and enable customers on their integration journey. The AB Solutions Architect role requires a unique balance of technical depth and customer-facing experience. This includes:
* Collaborating with external customers and internal teams to craft optimized, scalable, and secure AB API solutions.
* Serving as a trusted advisor to organizations, helping them understand the opportunities to develop and integrate with AB APIs.
* Driving adoption of AB APIs within a diverse customer base, ranging from small, medium to large enterprise sellers and 3rd party integrators.
* Building technical credibility with software engineers, solution architects, product managers, and C-level stakeholders.
* Linking technology with measurable business value and thinking strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
* Providing thought leadership through documentation, public speaking, reference code, and architectural guidance.
Key job responsibilities
* Drive business outcomes by developing technical products that accelerate AB API integration journeys, such as demo videos, code samples, and reference architectures.
* Provide technical support and architectural guidance directly to AB API developers building solutions leveraging the Amazon Business Selling Partner API platform.
* Create educational content like tutorials, white papers, and technical articles to drive adoption of the AB APIs.
* Collaborate closely with customers to understand their use cases, provide feedback to shape the API roadmap, and ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
* Lead integration projects with Sellers and 3rd Party Integrators, educating them on the value proposition of Amazon Business's features.
* Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and discussions to promote the adoption of AB APIs.
* Demonstrate cross-functional skills to architect solutions, analyze systems, and resolve complex problems, while partnering with product and marketing teams.

About the team
AB Integrations team vision is to evangelize the Amazon Business (AB) APIs, set high standards for API product releases, and enhance the experience for all developers including sellers and 3rd Party Integrators. The team of solution architects aims to shorten integration timelines, help developers adopt well-architected frameworks, and tailor API solutions to fulfill diverse use cases. The team collaborates across multiple streams, including product improvements, developer experience, driving adoption of AB-specific features, developer assistance, improving API discoverability, and providing consulting services on architecture and design principles.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
