The AWS Data Center Finance team provides end-to-end financial support, driving AWS to be the lowest cost provider in Cloud computing and leader in customer experience. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Energy Finance team which falls under the AWS Energy and Sustainability Finance team. The AWS Energy team is responsible for (1) Delivering Energy to AWS Data Centers, (2) Procuring Renewable Energy to support our 100% Renewable Energy goal, and (3) Developing our Sustainability and Carbon Strategy. This team provides critical support in the form of financial valuation, investment decisions, and driving the global portfolio strategy for Amazon’s Energy and Renewable Energy portfolio.We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the end-to-end energy portfolio: energy deal valuation processes, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) reporting, energy opex and capex portfolio reporting, Month End Close processes, automation support, and more. Finance provides critical valuation support, thought leadership, financial acumen and controllership, and aids in critical decision making both at the deal and portfolio level.
