In this role, you will improve employee product experiences at a global scale. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, as well as multiple partner teams within the broader People Experience Technology (PXT) and Amazon Worldwide Operations organizations. As a designer, you will help identify a design vision to raise the UX bar for this domain.

Key job responsibilities
- Assume ownership for the end-to-end experiences and features across desktop, mobile and more.
- Lead the discovery, strategy, concept design, and launch phases of a project.
- Champion user-centered design culture.
- Model behavior that exemplifies Amazon Leadership Principles and raises the design bar for the organization.
- Take the complex and make it simple, despite technical complexities.
- Create and drive adoption of design guidelines, mechanisms, best practices, process, and tools.
A day in the life
You will work with product and engineering stakeholders closely on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with other UX designers in the same team to connect individual features to form a holistic experience. You will share design work regularly for design team peer review, stakeholder review, and leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience designing in an agile development environment
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
- Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
