JWOS is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to educate, evangelize and drive implementation of Just Walk Out technology with retailers globally. In this role you will work closely with retail customers in identifying their needs and how we best meet them, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Amazon's physical stores to drive implementations of Just Walk Out technology and improvements to the technology to meet customer demands.
Ideally, you bring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, B2B sales/business development and physical retail experience. You have immediate credibility with technologists and retail executives across the c-suite – including operations, procurement and technology. You thrive in ambiguity, you are passionate about transforming the global physical retail landscape and love to share that passion with others. Key job responsibilities
* Overall customer/partner relationship and journey of the customer
* Partner with our BD/Sales team to drive clarity on digital integration guidance
*Gain customer alignment on the shopper and merchant CX they envision for their Just Walk Out powered store
* Deep dive discussions with customer on how Just Walk Out integrates with their existing services
* Assist customer in resolving design questions
* Work with product and engineering teams to coordinate, scope, and prioritize new feature requests
* Drive accountability for the overall timescales and plan for delivery of customer integrations, capabilities and features
* Own the technical delivery plan once agreed, including status reporting and ownership of issues
* Own all onboarding activities (APIs, Security Roles, Payment Providers and systems, Loyalty providers)
* Own and execute the test plans before a store goes live with Just Walk Out service

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
