A key responsibility of the Senior Risk Manager is to meticulously monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly risk metrics, providing comprehensive reports to onsite management teams and corporate reporting systems. This individual will ensure unwavering adherence to all corporate compliance program expectations and applicable federal and state laws. They will conduct comprehensive risk assessments on existing processes and new product assortments, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies to the corporate compliance team. These recommendations may encompass process improvements, training enhancements, and other measures to effectively manage and mitigate identified risks
About the team
The Compliance Health team acts as ‘the pulse of Worldwide Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance (RISC) function’. The primary role is to develop and implement processes that mitigate risks associated with our product catalog. We spearhead efforts to establish risk metrics, standardize procedures, and streamline processes across all teams within RISC. This is achieved by identifying gaps or deficiencies in existing processes, re-evaluating standard operating procedures, and proactively addressing new risk signals.
The Compliance Health team members are dedicated subject matter experts who assume accountability for identifying vulnerabilities and reducing risks within our product catalog. The top priority is risk mitigation, and to collaborate closely with global program leads to establish and standardize risk reduction processes. Through these efforts, the team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall safety and compliance of our offerings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
