Amazon Photos’ vision is to be the world’s most proactive and emotionally intelligent personal memories companion for families. Our customers love that they can preserve their family memories (Prime members get unlimited photo storage) and that Amazon Photos helps them relive these memories on their phones and in their homes. Amazon’s Alexa-enabled devices: Echo Show, Fire TV and Fire Tablet play an important role in bringing these memories into the family’s home and the Amazon Photos use case is one of the top reason that customers buy and love these devices.

You will be the Senior PM-T owning the Core experiences on Echo Show and Fire TV. You will own the primary way in which our customers enjoy their memories in their home. These are our most adopted “ambient” experiences: Photos on the Echo Show home screen, Fire TV Screensaver, and Fire TV ambient display. You’ll be responsible for defining new ways for customers to display and interact with their personal content on these screens. You will have High Standards and will constantly raise the bar on the quality of these experiences.

As a Product practitioner, you are a student of products, constantly breaking down other products and seeking to understand the choices of other product leaders in the field. You are a human-focused inventor, diving deep into customer behaviors through data and anecdotes in order to understand and build for true needs. You are an experimenter, recognizing when A/B testing can help build knowledge and make better products.

As a technologist, you are able to understand and influence software architecture, which in-turn allows you to make good product decisions. Given this role is a more technical product role (aka “Product Manager - Technical”), you are someone who has worked close to the software development process (as an engineer or working closely with an engineering team), contributing to technical and architectural decisions which impact the short, medium, and long-term success of your products.
