We build commerce services to support merchants in growing their off-Amazon ecommerce businesses including direct to consumer (DTC). We're looking for an experienced technical product manager to enable merchants to build innovative shopping experiences and ecommerce applications.

As a Senior PMT on the merchant experience, you will lead product strategy, turning customer insights and feedback into plans that accelerate delivery of the right product for our merchant customers. You will work directly with dedicated engineering teams and senior leadership to drive product development for merchant-facing products influencing fundamental technical design decisions, product roadmap, go-to-market plans and long-term strategy.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy for Buy with Prime merchant-facing interfaces.
- Deeply understand the technology that underpins our merchant experiences and collaborate closely with your engineering partners to support the long term technology strategy for our products.
- Work closely with engineering counterparts to understand friction and to address gaps, identify dependencies and clear blockers, balancing impact vs. engineering cost.
- Champion the ideal end-to-end experience for merchants and business decision makers as they consider onboarding Buy with Prime and MCF.
- Define the success metrics for features or services to track performance, deep-dive on issues and uncover trends and patterns.

MCF represents the core fulfillment capability of Buy with Prime (BwP), a new business initiative for Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
