We are seeking a seasoned product leader to join our Kindle Unlimited team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing long-term vision and strategy for critical growth areas of our global subscription. You will partner closely with science & tech leaders and software engineers to build innovative, customer-facing features that will scale and optimize subscription growth in order to reach more readers. You will also work closely with and influence marketing teams, design, and finance to bring your vision and strategy to life.

Our ideal candidate will have deep product management experience, ability to influence technical product investments, strong track record working with ML, and the right balance between thinking innovatively and delivering viable, customer-facing solutions that reinforce Kindle Unlimited's position as the worlds most loved reading subscription.

Key job responsibilities
- Identifying customer and business opportunities and translating these opportunities into long-term vision and strategy.
- Owning a product roadmap end-to-end, from ideation, research, experimentation, and go-to-market.
- Partnering with science & engineering teams to build innovative products and influencing technical discussions and decisions.
- Managing prioritization, tradeoffs, and cross-functional communication, including presenting to senior leadership.
- Partnering with design teams to translate ideas into great customer experiences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
- Effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and across all levels of the organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
