The Selling Partner Promotions team is looking for a Sr Manager of Product Management-Technical to solve complex problems at worldwide scale with significant business impact. Our vision is to create a win-win ecosystem in which shoppers can find a wide range of high quality promotional discounts across Amazon, and Brands can grow their business through marketing discount offers with compelling ROI. Our team is responsible for data, tools, and services through which all discounted selection (deals, coupons, etc.) is sourced worldwide, and we play a critical role in running peak events (e.g. Prime Day and Cyber Monday).

The ideal candidate is a big thinker who obsesses over solving the most important customer problems, as well as an experienced manager who can amplify the impact of team members through setting a clear vision and defining clear charters of ownership. In this position, you will manage a team of Product Managers responsible for deal sourcing systems and underlying architecture, inclusive of data pipelines/ML models, backend services, and multiple selling partner interfaces. The role is equal parts product development and business management, and it entails collaboration with worldwide partner teams, planning across multiple two-pizza tech teams, and document writing and goal reporting for senior management.

- You lead a team of senior product managers and business intelligence engineers to execute initiatives that have company-wide impact.

- You will use your judgement to make strategic decisions that will impact multiple organizations within Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- Experience in retail or e-commerce

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
