We're seeking a passionate and talented Localization Program Manager with a track record of delivery, ownership and drive to experiment and innovate to continue to scale our program globally.
Key job responsibilities
The Localization Program Manager will define and oversee our localization workflow and process end-to-end. You will work with our global content team, global seller education partner teams and our central content creation team to develop high-quality seller training content in more than 15 different languages for all global Amazon stores. This role will also explore and experiment with new LLM and MT-based tools to continue to improve the learning experience and educate sellers in their preferred learning formats, modalities and channels.
A day in the life
As the Sr. Localization Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and optimizing our localization process to ensure a consistent global learning experience on Seller University. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in tech and non-tech roles including Product, Content Creation, and Learning Design to drive the Localization roadmap. You will be responsible for leading resource allocation and strategic communication. You will proactively manage change control, lead experiments with new tools and processes, remove obstacles and provide guidance to ensure seamless delivery. You will contribute to operational planning, and contribute actively to scaling Seller University as a global program.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 5+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Translation, Localization Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Intermediate level knowledge of LLM- and MT-based tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
