As a Sr. Design Program Manager on the Brand Design Team in the XCM organization, this role leads the scoping, execution and day-to-day management of our Amazon tentpole brands and/or HVE key initiatives. The Sr. Design Program Manager (Sr. DPM) is dedicated to their specific Big Rock/s and aligned to our most strategically important global brand initiatives with deliverables that range from brand or event style guidelines and visual brand expression, to brand and creative strategy, architecture and positioning, and supporting related campaign assets. They are responsible for building effective partnerships with our Creative Leads, Creative Teams, Marketing Managers and Brand Planning to lead and scale complex initiatives and drive cross functional team alignment within our XCM teams, business partners and external agencies.

A Sr. DPM has specialized marketing expertise in program and project management with a strong understanding of the creative development process and milestones. They understand program management best practices, manage and develop end-to-end methodologies, and proactively provide thoughtful solutions to address changes in timelines or feedback. This role must have experience with brand design, brand strategy, and an understanding of all customer touchpoints from mass campaign channels to onsite, social and owned & operated placements. They are able to navigate complex multi-team/multi-level stakeholder relationships earning trust through that process, maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership, and clearly outline roles and responsibilities to streamline communications (ex. RAPID). This role is able to independently execute on global tentpole brand and/or HVE related projects that deliver on strategic priorities to achieve XCM business goals.

A Sr. DPM is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex marketing-focused campaigns or initiatives. Alongside the Brand Design Team, Brand Planning and Creative Leads, this role remains flexible across all project types. This role has a strong understanding of the strategic position of our brand/s and defines the complex, high impact, and ambiguous challenges that are rarely repeatable or programmatic. They liaise with numerous stakeholder teams across the company and marketplaces to understand their detailed programs and brand needs to serve as the central brand design team that transforms customer insights, brand positioning strategies, and brand personality traits into clear, compelling, and scalable brand-led experiences to drive measurable impact on overall global Amazon brand perceptions and attributions. They manage the annual planning of their program roadmap and the ongoing project-based intake, scoping, budget forecasting and management, and consultation mechanisms built to uphold brand standards adoption and maintain the creative bar for global brand design. They act as lead creative POC for automation tools and mechanisms to streamline creative production and globally scale where applicable. This not only involves how these tools integrate into processes, but also ensuring the right tools are being leveraged, push for product updates based on learnings and feedback to improve the experience using them for our customers, and ensure the creative bar is being maintained in the outputs of these tools in partnership with Content X, CCT, and/or WW Events partners ensuring alignment with our most up to date guidelines and/or templates.

A Sr. DPM identifies inefficiencies and removes bottlenecks; escalates effectively, and is able to find a path forward in difficult situations. Throughout the brand design process, the Sr. DPM manages ongoing logistics, ensures overall alignment to scope and milestones, communicates trade-offs, and proactively plans for any and all option value to maintain the priority of the brand and/or creative strategy. The Sr. DPM is solutions focused and determined to identify challenges coming out of core team or leadership reviews. They are able to define and independently manage escalation paths at critical milestones, and anticipate and mitigate potential blockers across all phases of the project.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market.
