We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to align top-level strategic objectives, goals, and metrics through deep knowledge of the program, thought leadership, and influence to drive resource investments and deliverables across teams. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment and excels at identifying gaps and opportunities, developing proposals, implementing mechanisms for accountability and measurement, and driving key metrics such as ROI.

Key job responsibilities
Business Managers are strategic professionals who lead and influence omnidirectionally within a matrix organization, working across teams including but not limited to business, sales, marketing, finance, and analytics. They dive deep to research, understand, and maintain connections between business lines and data inputs to drive key strategic metrics. They’re able to clearly identify, define, and prioritize the right problems and solutions, supported with relevant data and insights. They are adaptable, proactively take ownership, and have a track record of effective change manage.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
