The Senior WW Business Dev Manager will own the Tech Business Development function and will be responsible to drive new Partner acquisition to support expansion goals of CMO across channels i.e. TV, Radio, Digital and geos (i.e. IT, IN, DE) for providing consistent comparable measurement. The role will work closely with CMO leadership team and deliver solutions that focus on: (1) supporting measurement expansion with new and existing external data partners (EDPs) across channels and geographies (2) develop Partner facing tools and processes (3) work with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Program, Finance and Legal to close deal terms that align with CMO’s requirements.

Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with CMO leadership to proactively pursue new partnerships and support expansion.
- Grow channel and geographic reach by developing integrated and scalable partnership solutions.
- Support globalization of our measurement products across U.S. and other marketplaces.
- Engage and collaborate with senior level partners and prospects on partnership vision, value exchange and key deliverables.
- Lead partner valuation including research, idea generation, sourcing partners, strategic and financial assessment, and industry due diligence.
- Lead negotiations and deal term sheets for contract execution and integration activities.
- Drive executive-level discussions cross-functionally (i.e., Legal, Finance, Engineering and Product) to manage business development process.
- Work 1:1 with Product and Engineering to drive adopt data requirements and standards across data partners.

Our outputs shape Amazons marketing teams’ decisions and thus how Amazon customers see, use, and value their experience.

The CMO (Campaign measurement and Optimization) team sits within the CBA and our mission is to make Amazon’s marketing the most measurably effective in the world. Our long-term objective is to measure the incremental impact of all Amazon’s marketing investments on consumer perceptions, actions, and sales. This requires measuring Amazon’s marketing comparably and consistently across channels, business teams and countries using a comprehensive approach that integrates all Paid, Owned and Earned marketing activity. As the experts on marketing performance, we will lead the Amazon worldwide marketing community by providing critical global insights that can power marketing best practices and tenets globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
