To drive innovation and growth, the Amazon Selling Partner Developer Services team is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager Tech to identify, develop, and drive new growth opportunities for the 3P Consumer business through externalizing API products and leveraging our network of thousands of Third-Party Solution Providers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive scaled impact through a worldwide partner ecosystem in a growing, fast-paced, environment and have an impact on millions of businesses who generate hundreds of billions of dollars in sales in Amazon’s store annually.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a proven record of accomplishment building or growing a partner ecosystem with independent software vendors (ISVs) and/or service providers such as consultancies, managed service providers, and system integrators. The candidate will have a keen ability to convey and deliver compelling value propositions, technical integration methods, go-to-market motions, and value-exchange mechanisms to senior leaders internally and externally Lastly, the candidate understands how to build deep, trusted, relationships with internal partners to align and execute on shared goals that generate joint success.

• Initiate, develop, and oversee relationships with our most-strategic internal partners and our executive sponsors.
• Understand the needs of our Selling Partners and influence or grow our technology partners to address those needs.
• Manage complex relationships and business and technical requirements.
• Work with internal and cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic API business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and co-marketing.
• Drive results through business reviews to manage progress against a business plan.
• Implement programmatic mechanisms with key internal stakeholders that will allow us to operate at scale.

To enable this, we offer a world-class suite of data products and experiences to empower the creation of innovative solutions on behalf of Partners. Our foundational systems and tools solve for cross-cutting Builder needs in externalizing data, and are easily extensible using federated policy and reusable technology. We supplement that with rich value-added business capabilities to accelerate the speed-to-market for Partners and Solution Providers through customizable user experience while preserving customer trust and holding a high compliance bar. Our APIs and 3P Solution Providers help millions of businesses grow and succeed in the Amazon.com retail store, representing hundreds of billions of dollars in sales annually.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years working with technology products, APIs, and SaaS partners
- Experience working directly with development teams, engineers, and subject matter experts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Knowledge of analytics, reporting, and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
