The Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience Team is responsible for how Amazon’s customers pay on Amazon’s sites and through Amazon’s services around the globe. You will work with the biggest players in the payments industry to deliver best-in-class customer payment experiences while driving change in the industry.

You will use your experience to create and maintain our issuing banks outreach program. You will coordinate a team of product managers and account managers to track the outreach and enable to scale it. You will create a scorecard of metrics to follow with the team and contribute to driving the team priorities, deliver pitches, FAQs, standard processes that are relevant for the program.

Key job responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end execution of the payments trust program by coordinating with key stakeholders across teams. Design and implement fraud detection policies, prevention procedures, and response controls for payment abuse incidents.

Direct the integration of fraud detection technologies with existing systems while maintaining operational efficiency. Manage program resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery. Set up monitoring protocols, evaluate system performance, and establish incident response frameworks to strengthen payment security measures.

Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and Buyer Risk Prevention teams. Conduct in-depth investigations into payment issues, preparing concise summaries and actionable recommendations for leadership. Oversee program execution, balancing cost-effectiveness with operational goals. Escalate critical findings promptly to appropriate stakeholders.

Act as subject matter expert on payment trust by developing training modules and establishing investigative best practices. Design and optimize monitoring systems with SOPs for incident detection and response. Evaluate, select, and implement fraud detection technologies that integrate with existing infrastructure.

Drive continuous improvement by monitoring program effectiveness, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing enhancements to strengthen fraud and abuse prevention strategies.

Develop comprehensive business reports, metrics, and presentations, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
