Amazon is seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager - Technical to join Amazon’s Consumer Electronics Technology (CE-Tech) AI Technology team. This team is the AI arm of Amazon’s BEATS (Business, Electronics, Auto, and Technology Solutions) division with a remit that spans diverse hardlines categories in the US, a worldwide remit in high value consumer shopping experiences on Amazon (e.g. consumer shopping cart basket building), and vendor and employee tooling.

On the heels of this team’s success in 2024, this is a unique role for a visionary product manager looking for broad scope and an opportunity to guide our thinking as to where we should place our bets for maximum transformation and impact in 2025 and beyond. Key job responsibilities
- Provide Strategic Leadership: Define and evangelize the short and long-term vision for AI Tech, considering a wide variety of potential high-impact opportunities including CX, vendor and employee tooling. Get alignment on this vision with senior leadership and then drive cross-functional alignment across business, science, and engineering teams
- Lead Product Definition: Develop crisp and detailed business requirements, user stories and technical requirements that can be used to create product specifications, design and architecture. Partner closely with Applied Scientists and Engineers to translate business opportunities into technical solutions, and drive architectural decisions that balance innovation with scalability.
- Drive Execution & Delivery: Work closely with Applied Scientists, Engineering and partner teams in an agile environment to deliver from conception through launch. Define success metrics and own the measurement framework. Drive rapid experimentation to validate hypotheses and iterate on solutions.
- Bring Innovation & Thought Leadership: Inculcate an AI-aware mindset throughout the CE Tech organization, in everything from daily tasks to long-range planning. Foster a culture of innovation, fast test and learn, and calculated risk-taking.


Key job responsibilities
• Technical Product Leadership. Serve as a go-to product expert for Amazon Anywhere –for partners, leadership and our own engineering teams. Ground expertise in an understanding of the competitive landscape, customer insights and partner needs, and a deep understanding of the underlying technology of our product and that of our partners;
• Product Roadmap. Play a critical role in influencing the vision and product roadmap for the future (e.g., product capabilities, service model), write effective PRFAQs, stay at the forefront of technology advancements and push the tech frontier of the product. Analyze opportunities in terms of the benefit to the customer, partner, business impact, and other short and longer term considerations.
• Product Delivery. Work with partners to align on requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications. Ensure successful, on-time delivery of new Amazon Anywhere integrations through effective project management and risk mitigation;
• Metrics-driven Launches and Iteration. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including product performance data, partner/end user feedback and market trends to identify, design and test feature improvements;
• Product Stewardship. Be a steward of our Amazon Anywhere guardrails that safeguard the customer experience, customer data and Amazon IP;
• Technical Collaboration. Bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities by effectively communicating requirements and constraints. Work closely with engineering to define technical specifications and evaluate feasibility. Share insights and make recommendations to guide future enhancements and feature development for existing partners and Amazon Anywhere feature development;
• Cross-functional, Pan-Amazon Collaboration. Partner with other Amazon teams (e.g. Advertising, AWS, Corp Business Development, Prime Video, Studios, Games) to ensure that our product, vision and capabilities are included in the suite of Pan-Amazon e-commerce solutions offered broadly by these teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
