We're seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to lead our Social Advertising product strategy and execution. In this role, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of innovative advertising solutions that help millions of social media users connect with Amazon ecosystem, and drive discovery, engagement, and conversion across established (like Meta, Snap) and emerging (like TikTok, Pinterest) platforms. You will leverage the automated ad products and cross-team partnerships to create successful traffic strategies, contribute to go-to-market plans for strategic initiatives, design and execute well-structured tests, and optimize performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.

To be successful in this role you will need to both see the big picture and be able and willing to execute rapidly. You will understand both the art and science of online marketing automation and have proven experience setting up structured tests and analyzing results for actionable insights. You will have an eye for detail, aptitude for data analysis, and proven success in driving substantial results. You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space and autonomy, and understand the value of a rapid test and learn approach. You’ll be equally comfortable working with marketers, product managers, engineers, and teams ranging from finance to analytics. You will develop channel roadmap and best practices, monitor social media trends, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for scaling. You will build and own operating plans, and deep dive and size the ROI for new initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive product strategy and execution for Amazon's social advertising platforms, including discovery, definition, and delivery of new features and capabilities
• Develop comprehensive product roadmaps backed by data-driven insights, customer research, and market analysis
• Partner with engineering, design, and marketing teams to build and scale advertising products that deliver measurable ROI
• Define and analyze key metrics to measure product success and optimize performance
• Identify market opportunities and craft business cases for new social advertising products and features
• Develop robust A/B testing programs to optimize for customer engagement and conversion
• Partner directly with social media platforms on new ad product implementations
• Partner cross-team to create and execute the paid social marketing strategy for mid-funnel traffic
• Advise organic and influencer media on boosting best practices
• Work effectively across organizational boundaries to iterate on product parity, priority objectives and opportunities
• Craft & develop compelling user stories, create marketing content to be used in social ad campaigns; collaborate with designers to develop creative assets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience in online or digital advertising
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- Knowledge of SQL, analytical tools and web traffic reporting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
