The Amazon Pricing team is looking for a seasoned product manager to help us drive improvement to pricing related customer experiences worldwide.
As the Senior Product Manager over this space, you’ll partner with our team of engineers, user experience designers, research scientists, data scientists, and business intelligence engineers to innovate on Amazon's shopping experiences across the store. You'll design, launch, and measure experiments that help drive discovery of the best priced selection in our store.
Successful candidates will have a keen ability to distill insights from customer research, and form an experimentation plan to address pain points uncovered through anecdote and in-depth data analysis. They will be able to translate these insights into testable experiments to address unmet needs, or improve a particular shopping outcome. You'll thrive in an environment with lots of opportunity to invent new approaches, while moving fast and learning from prior experiments.
You will be able to separate out idealistic from practical and balance both to continue to move forward. You will excel at looking around corners, and anticipating where to build and when to test to fail fast. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the businesses we support.
You will thrive in a collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with senior leaders, technical software development teams, design teams, research teams, and business intelligence teams.
