Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a dynamic, growing business unit within Amazon.com. Since early 2006, AWS has provided companies of all sizes with an infrastructure platform in the cloud. Using AWS, companies can requisition compute power, storage, and other services – gaining access to a global computing infrastructure that is the backbone of Amazon.com’s multi-billion dollar retail business. Today, AWS provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers millions of active monthly customers from start-ups to multi-national corporations to governments.

The AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) PXT team is looking for a Senior HR Program Manager with excellent project management skills who can think big, lead end to end process execution, cultivate collaborative relationships with the AIS PXT team and business stakeholders to meet shared goals, and roll up their sleeves to deliver. We are looking for a strong logical thinker and problem solver to provide support for analyzing people and operational metrics. Our goal is to design and implement people programs and practices that are scalable for our growing business. The Senior HR Program Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides programmatic leadership to our Global PXT team, but also partners extremely closely with the AWS business and Amazon’s central PXT. This role will be a part of a fun, passionate and dynamic global PXT and business team and requires strong team collaboration. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives by designing and implementing reporting and data analytics solutions that drive PXT and business functional excellence and process improvement.

As a Senior HR Program Manager, you understand that building does not happen in a silo, but requires an appreciation for collaboration with global PXT Business Partners, other COE teams, and business leaders. You also know that influencing happens by writing incredible data rich documents, working hard to earn trust, showing tenacity and backbone, and a commitment to doing what’s right. Previous experiences that will help with role fit might include: partnering with product teams or PXT teams to build new systems, mechanisms and/or tools, leading large scale change management initiatives that stick, presenting data insights to senior leaders that lead to global PXT process decisions/implementation.
