The Selling Partner Services (SPS) team is looking for a Finance Manager for the Customer Trust (CT) org. The SPS organization employees over 20,000 employees who provide support to Amazon's Selling Partners while also ensuring that we protect Amazon customers from bad actors. This team would focus on ensuring selling partners are complaint with regulations, so we can identify and remove bad actors for entering Amazon. In this role, you will be the central FP&A support across 7 directors. In addition to driving central reporting, you will drive global, cross-team decisions to help reduce costs, acting as the trusted finance advisor for the organization on complex, confidential projects, while maintaining a high quality of service for Amazon's Selling Partners and Customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Business, operation, and product teams, creating their goals and advising where they should be investing to drive automation, productivity, and other improvements across their organization
- Drive standardization and automation of planning and reporting processes across several organizations
- Analyze Opex variances vs. plan and provide insight to business partners including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations
- Partner with Senior Leaders (Senior Managers and Directors) in the business, product and operations to tackle ad-hoc request like launching a new program, making trade-off decisions, and driving conversations on Down Stream Impacts and Return on Investment.
- Support internal customer groups in all finance matters including budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
- Drive process improvements to Invent & Simplify efforts across cross-org mechanisms

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
