Key job responsibilities
- Partner with the AWS Infrastructure Business Development team to provide strategic guidance on investments alternatives and deal negotiations for regional expansions
- Perform discounted cash flow and P&L financial modeling. Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned with recommendations
- Help prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management teams regarding progress and roadblocks to strategy execution
- Drive month-end reporting and variance analysis of actual spend versus projection
- Provide controllership and oversight of business case data integrity and approvals
- Identify and lead projects to drive automation and process improvement, and cost/operational efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
