Key job responsibilities
• Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
• Responsible for creating and executing the end-to-end breakout content strategy for major seller-facing events. This includes sourcing, curating, and distributing exclusive content from across Amazon to deliver a unified learning experience for sellers.
• Managing a complex, cross-functional program with significant impact. The role requires deep understanding of seller needs to design the operational infrastructure and content taxonomy to deliver timely, relevant, and engaging content.
• Driving efficiency and proactively creating processes to maintain high content quality standards. Serving as the team expert on content management architecture, systems, and development workflows.
• Engaging with internal partners to identify and build mechanisms that streamline the content development process, and collaborating with leadership to align content investments with business goals.
• Provide counsel to executives and cross-functional teams on content messaging
• Write and evolve messaging and talking points in a thoughtful and strategic way
• Build, guide, and execute event content, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvals
• Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactively
• Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence
A day in the life
The position is responsible for working with NAS Vendor Summit team to creatively reinforce Amazon as the retailer of choice for top brands, deepen our engagement with our vendors’ most senior leaders, and showcase new innovation and launches. This includes managing the strategic position of the NAS Vendor Summit by providing direction and implementation of Leadership presentation content for special events. This role actively develops and implements presentation plans and strategies to internal and external senior leadership teams. This position will develop communication, align strategies, produce, edit, and publish a wide variety of content, and requires excellent writing and editing skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing complex content projects
- Strong content strategy and information architecture skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder relationships and needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve problems and work without close direction in ambiguous environments.
- Good judgment and effective communication
- Experience defining and executing against program requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- • BA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
- • Experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
- • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
- • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
- • Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
- • Strong written and oral communication skills
- • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
- • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- • Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
- • Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
