This role will focus on implementing strategic programs for ensuring coverage and accuracy for age ratings, consumer advice and classification programs. This senior role will require a Program Manager who is a problem solver and invents relentlessly on behalf of our customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving the execution of this core mission, the Program Manager will work closely with their cross-functional counterparts in engineering, product management, legal, PR, marketing, customer service, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.

You’ll research, support escalation management, design audits and draft thoughtful problem solving mechanisms. You will present proposals to stakeholders and leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Implement Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute comprehensive Trust & Safety strategies that protect the service, users, and brand reputation.
- Process Improvements: Continuously refine Trust & Safety processes to address emerging risks and user concerns. This includes identifying and assessing program-level risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, monitoring and managing risks throughout the program lifecycle. Seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned from past experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as product, engineering, business and legal, to advocate for Trust & Safety considerations in the design, development, and implementation of service features and functionalities.
- Project Management and Quality Assurance: Coordinate multiple related projects and ensure projects are executed in alignment with program objectives and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain program documentation, ensure knowledge transfer across projects and teams and capture and share lessons learned.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular program status reports through executive summaries and detailed analysis. Communicate program outcomes and benefits realized.
A day in the life
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Science, Engineering, BI, Operations and Legal to determine Project KPI's, success metrics, implementation strategy and reporting mechanisms.
- Address escalations from customers, regulators and business to resolve them in a timely manner, implement short term or long term solutions and drive process improvements based on customer feedback and escalations.
- Coordinate with the operation teams and tech teams to execute key projects.
- Own end-to-end user acceptance testing for feature launches.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience managing programs/operations and using data and metrics to design strategies, identify and implement improvements
- 2+ years of experience in managing risk assessments
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
