The Program Manager will own end-to-end conference strategy by defining the vision, building the roadmap and executing each event in order to drive recruiting efforts. The successful candidate will have excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills, paired with extreme attention to detail. You will need to influence team members across the globe, so the ability to collaborate and influence without authority is a must. To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of customer focus, a passion for process improvement and ability to drive continuous improvements YoY!
3-5+ years of experience managing events with recent examples of end-to-end execution from conception to completion is required for this position.
Key job responsibilities
1. Drive the vision, roadmap and execution for Specialty Recruiting Conferences.
2. Own and continually improve program mechanisms to leverage the support of senior Amazonians at conferences.
3. Own communication with business and recruiting stakeholders attending the conference.
4. Build reporting metrics to measure and analyze the impact from the conferences program.
5. Manage, analyze, and communicate relevant results to customers and senior management.
This person will be expected to travel 25% of the year.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
