Amazon Handmade is looking to hire a customer-obsessed, data driven Marketing Product Manager. In this role, you will shape, invent, and launch new marketing channels while managing and optimizing existing efforts both for Amazon Selling Partners and Customers. You will work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution with the greater North American Stores Marketing Team. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You should be able to operate with a high level of autonomy and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A successful candidate must be able to work both strategically (using customer data to generate bold ideas for growth) and tactically (optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic, and solving problems). This candidate will have a firm grasp on creating, launching, and optimizing a complete marketing funnel – from driving brand awareness to conversion. Finally, this candidate must possess strong project management skills and be able to effectively influence others to achieve success.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead the selling partner marketing strategy for Handmade's artisan community. This includes but is not limited to newsletters, the Handmade Hub and Forums.
- Manage multiple customer marketing and merchandising channels at the same time; consistently making progress and delivering results.
- Experiment and test existing and new marketing channels and merchandising placements.
- Partner with members of North America Stores Marketing (NASM), helping to drive business requirements and alignment for new marketing features and requests for Handmade.
- Launch new marketing outlets to increase awareness and engagement with Amazon Handmade.
- Own campaigns from end-to-end, including creative, targeting, segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.
- Own reporting of key campaigns and marketing metrics to leadership and broader organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
