Within Amazon Personalization, we seek to understand each customer uniquely, more completely, and collectively, deeply personalizing the experience to each customer across every service they use. We are looking for a Principal TPM to define a multi-year product strategy and influence teams and leaders across the company towards a shared mental model on how to deliver high-quality, personally relevant recommendation experiences. Through our investments, we seek to leverage the latest advance in generative AI to deliver new experiences for customers.



Key job responsibilities
* Define and articulate the program strategy for improving relevance and quality across recommendations powered by P13N systems
* Define and articulate a program strategy to leverage generative AI to deliver transformative personalized customer experiences
* Influence multiple VP-led organizations on their CX approaches and investment priorities
* Collaborate with Senior SDEs and Principal Engineers across organizations to define scalable technical approaches
* Own clear, succient leadership communication across VPs
* Navigate ambiguity to define org-wide program strategy and annual prioritization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
