The Principal, Program Mgmt. for NA Stores (NAS) Negotiations exhibits thought leadership among the NAS vendor management community, alongside strong deep dive capabilities. The PM shows high levels of organization and precision, and flexes a strong backbone in the face of competing priorities from stakeholders and business partners alike. They lead daily operations of NAS Negotiations Programs by plugging into all negotiations goal-setting and delivery, operations, and tooling work-streams, managing preparation for negotiation launches, and acting as a key contributor for all negotiation training materials and delivery. The PM acts as a central guide and contact point for Vendor Managers as they navigate key negotiation cycles, as well as deploys and manages multiple online and in-person help support mechanisms throughout the year. They also foster strong relationships with NA Stores leadership and guide communication of negotiations results, including successes and business pivots, through both document preparation and verbal presentation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
