Position Summary
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the new selection success in the store. New Selection drives the Amazon flywheel with products launched in year contributing to a significant total revenue. This role will drive an S-team goal to grow new selection and improve its conversion and drive units on new selection. This role develop a bottoms-up plan to hit this S-team goal and work tech, science and across product lines(Consumables, Beats, F2) to drive selection growth for US 3P business.
You will work with domestic and CN based brand owners and resellers to identify areas of opportunity and work with the categories to unblock these challenges.
The role involves significant use of data
and selling partner feedback to measure impact of strategy and is expected to make frequent senior level presentations to drive decisions at both ongoing and strategic levels.
Key Product Management job functions are:
Identify and deliver initiatives that grow the US 3P Business through strategic partnerships with internal teams at Amazon
Drive project planning through detailed roadmaps and milestone tracking
Ensure appropriate coordination and communication with relevant business and cross functional stakeholders
Understand business customer needs through direct customer interactions and through benchmarking
Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders and internal partners
Partner with other product and program managers globally to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
