Key job responsibilities
The Principle Product Manager’s primary responsibilities will include:
• Defining the ideal customer journey from discover to purchase for customer interested in licensed sports products or on a licensed sporting shopping mission;
• Collecting insights on customers, sports teams, and industry trends to support data-based decision-making;
• Defining and implementing an iterative product development process in partnership with cross-functional and centralized team;
• Collaborating with category teams and other internal and external partners to define and deliver the product vision;
• Translating the customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap; and
• Authoring complete and detailed product requirements, ensuring the clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, and development teams.
In addition to leading the end-to-end product development process, this person will provide thought leadership in building a successful licensed sports business that meets fans where they are and redefines the customer experience in the industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, deep understanding of and passion for the sports landscape, product development experience, strong communication skills, an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, and an ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
