Looking for an opportunity to use data and analytics to improve the customer experience and drive business performance through Marketing and Discovery (M&D) initiatives? The Marketing & Discovery team within Private Brands is focused on driving discoverability of our 10K+ products available on Amazon and improving the customer experience associated with our brands and products so that new customers become return customers and return customers become loyal customers. The Amazon Private Brand’s M&D Analytics team owns the data, reporting and analytics across our M&D workstreams to help our organization make the best data-based decisions possible. This role’s initial focus area will be centered around developing the analytical strategy, reporting and tooling to support the growth of newly launched products. The leader will develop the KPIs (input and output metrics) to root cause new product performance, develop the tooling (in partnership with BIEs) that enables our broader organization to track the KPIs, and design the mechanisms that drives our organization to properly optimize newly launched products. The leader will also take on broader M&D analytics initiatives, which may include evolving our marketing measurement strategy, our M&D WBR deck, and/or improving our onsite/events reporting capabilities

We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit that strives in high ownership, highly ambiguous spaces and is comfortable partnering with broader business stakeholders to drive a collective analytics strategy. The Sr. Product Manager will be analytically driven to make sense of the raw data, develop the right metrics to track performance, and design the right tooling that the broader organization can effectively use to independently drive business growth. He/she will also be comfortable partnering with multiple teams inside and outside the Private Brands organization to accomplish their objectives, requiring strong collaboration to scale learnings and drive an impact across the business.

Key job responsibilities
Develop new product ramp analytics strategy:
• Define the new product KPIs
• Define the input and output metrics to drive actions
• Design new product analytical tooling for BMs and the broader organization to use
• Partner with the BIE team to build/evolve the new product analytical tooling
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes to change inputs
Lead additional M&D Analytics initiatives:
• Complete ad-hoc analytical studies to drive changes in business strategy
• Own the M&D channel measurement strategy
• Evolve the M&D P0 to better track the input/output performance of M&D initiatives
• Partner with M&D sub-teams to improve their analytical approach (inputs, outputs, data-based decisions)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
