This role will have the opportunity to hire and develop a team responsible for employee moves, facilities project management, room program changes, and daily customer service operations managing delivery of office furniture and accessories. The MAC Program Manager will oversee the AMER regional program, to include planning, budgeting, and activities that support corporate office locations across their assigned region.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and drive efficiency across these interconnected functions. Reporting to the AMER IFM Lead, this position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the workplace experience for Amazon employees and drive innovation in corporate real estate management. The role will be based in Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA or New York and will include some travel.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for the MAC program, aligning move execution, post-occupancy projects, and daily customer service operations.
• Hire, oversee, and mentor a team of three who are responsible for move strategy, workplace modifications (small to medium), and customer service requests related to room design, office accessories, and ergonomic needs.
• Develop and manage the annual budgets and operating plans for the program, continuously reduce cycle times, improve quality, and lower costs in alignment with Amazon’s policies
• Serve as primary point of contact for senior leadership on all MAC-related matters.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional portfolio managers, GREF teams, and partners.
• Oversee vendor relationships across all areas of the MAC program, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with Amazon's standards.
• Establish KPIS, review and optimize processes, standards, and best practices across all functions.
• Drive global consistency by developing replicable, scalable processes across the portfolio, innovative solutions that enhance employee experiences, and reports and metrics on opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with the Workplace Guidelines / Design Team and Global Corporate Procurement on procurement related activities by providing customer feedback, product failures/ repair reports and other helpful metrics.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-faceted programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with legal terms and structures for standard commercial contracts and leases.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, project management software, and facilities management systems.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
