Amazon is seeking a leader to head our Strategic Initiatives division within Prime Video. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our streaming service and driving innovation in the rapidly evolving digital entertainment landscape.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead the strategic direction and growth of Prime Video for certain Amazon devices.
2. Identify and develop new strategic initiatives to enhance Prime Video's offerings globally.
3. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, content, and marketing teams to create and execute a growth strategy for Prime Video device integrations to drive great customer experience.
4. Drive partnerships with key stakeholders, including content providers, technology partners, and device manufacturers to expand Prime Video’s reach and capabilities on certain devices.
5. Analyze industry trends, consumer behavior, and other relevant data to inform product development and business strategies.
6. Oversee the development and launch of new features and services for our Prime Video app on certain devices.
7. Work closely with Amazon's leadership teams to align on strategies with overall company goals.
8. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Prime Video and strategic initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
