The Amazon Business team is looking for a Head of Partner Marketing, to work with our Business Development and Partnership teams to drive engagement and lead generation with and through enterprise-level partners to help accelerate Amazon Business growth. This role will be responsible for hiring a team, creating a marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, and execute marketing activities (digital campaigns, virtual and in-person events, sponsorships, etc.).
A successful candidate is a marketing leader who has experience building teams, earns trust through relationship building and has demonstrated a strong record of delivering results. This role requires the ability to work through ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization, and critically think through challenges while ensuring that the details are not missed. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed and thinks strategically and analytically about customer challenges and how to best present Amazon Business solutions.
Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Business Development and Partnership teams to develop and deliver enterprise-level marketing activities and engagements (to, through and with partners)
• Manage a team responsible for executing marketing activities including content creation, and sponsorship and events strategy
• Collaborate with extended Amazon Business teams (including other marketing teams) to deliver top-notch experiences for partners, customers, and prospects
• Track marketing performance on an ongoing basis, constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience
• Present your results in weekly, monthly and quarterly business review meetings to process participants and stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

- Highly organized with ability to fluidly manage competing priorities
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to strategically plan and deliver on goals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of email, demand gen, and general digital marketing best practices

- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to gain alignment and problem solve collaboratively
- Builder mindset – adventurous and entrepreneurial, driven to constantly improve communication, processes, and results
- Positive track record of managing and developing agency support

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
