Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to partner with our Devices (FireTV and Alexa) and Central Advertising teams to drive on-device advertising. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of monetization initiatives and support monetization initiatives that span across Amazon FireTV and Alexa devices. FireTV devices provide streaming experience through streaming media players, as well as Amazon branded and 3rd party TVs. Alexa devices are designed entirely around your voice. The role involves working with stakeholders across multiple business lines within Amazon, with visibility across Devices and Amazon. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to join innovative businesses at Amazon. Devices or Advertising industry experience is preferred but not required.

Key job responsibilities
• Developing business cases and the financial models for new on-device monetization initiatives.
• Drive the financial planning / budgeting process.
• Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business.
• Develop business insights and KPI dashboards.
• Compile and review financial results and operational plans and communicate results to leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
