Amazon Business (AB) seeks a Finance Manager to lead its fast-paced Public Sector business. This business partnership role will be responsible for driving broad insights that can shape the growth strategy, own end-to-end P&L and drive financial assessment of multi-million-dollar deals. The successful candidate will lead Financial Planning cycles, partner with business to develop high velocity industry growth strategies, and develop and scale KPIs to target and track business success. The role will engage with Go-To-Market Sales Operations, Pricing, DEX, Services and BI teams to develop new programs and sales motions to accelerate growth. The role will evaluate and track ROI of bespoke customer deals and will require communication with Director and VP level leadership across US CPS and AB. The role requires high degree of Learn and be Curious to understand needs of our customers, and Bias for Action to navigate in a start-up-like customer facing environment. The role will be responsible to execute on one or several cross-CPS SMEship projects and analysis. Finally, this role requires the capability to clearly articulate the financial aspects and takeaways of their analyses to influence Senior Leaders.

Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the Business Partner for the Public Sector business segment, driving insights and controllership of Topline and P&L specifically for Government and Non-Profit customers
- Lead Financial Planning across 3YF/OP/Guidance cycles, and Monthly Financial reviews with CPS Directors and VP
- Engage with business and partner teams across PubSec Sales, Go-To-Market Sales Operations teams, AB Pricing, DEX and Services to develop insights and drive initiatives
- Influence business decisions through data driven analyses, effective verbal and written communication, and presentation of strategic options and investments to Senior Leaders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA, or CPA
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
