The Stores Security Organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Healthcare Security and Customer Service Security Teams in Seattle, Washington or Arlington, Virginia. This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your organizational and strategic acumen while growing your leadership skills.

As an Amazon EA, you will work in a team environment, building effective working relationships and partnering successfully with leaders of all levels inside and outside of the organization. This is a dynamic and multi-faceted role that requires the capacity to own a variety of projects, many with high degrees of visibility and impact and as such, requires strong integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism and a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with the ability to deliver results across multiple objectives simultaneously - often under ambiguous circumstances and competing deadlines. We are looking for someone who is skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans and taking effective action with appropriate urgency in response to situations that require quick turnaround. Other critical keys to success in this role are a calm and unflappable demeanor and a great sense of humor.


Key job responsibilities
Manage complex executive calendar management with detailed scheduling across multiple high-level calendar
Coordination and planning of domestic and international travel, including organizing trip agendas and local logistics
Completing expense reports, purchase orders, and managing corporate card purchases
Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-staff meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters
Serving as liaison between leadership and team members across multiple geographic regions
Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team
Managing other core administrative activities (space planning, new-hire onboarding, organizational charts)

Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.

This is an in office role located onsite in Seattle, WA. Remote can not be supported at this time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience managing multiple executive level calendars
- Experience with domestic and international travel coordination

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- 4+ years of senior level leadership support experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
