Amazon's NA Hardlines Pvt Brands team is looking for a leader with excellent ability to Dive Deep, demonstrate Ownership, and leverage Invent & Simplify to Deliver Results, by leading the strategy and execution of our promotional events. This individual will work with Amazon and A/HPB stakeholders to set our deals strategy for key Tier1 events (Like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Prime Day) and also other category themed Seasonal events throughout the year and create innovative deal experiences on behalf of customers and category teams, that drive value for both the customer and the business. They will ensure standardized processes within NA HPB to achieve defect-free deals and will create and own closed-loop mechanisms between APB’s Deals Lead, APB Marketing, HPB's cross-functional teams, and Leadership to ensure we learn, stay aligned, and are successful in delivering our goals. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and effective communicator, partnering with cross-functional teams to provide inputs to drive growth and process improvement for deal and events initiatives. The candidate should also have a persistent track record of having successfully formulated strategy, influencing/partnering with stakeholders and operational rigor in execution to deliver excellent results. Having marketing/events experience in Amazon is a plus.

Key job responsibilities
-Partner with key APB and HPB stakeholders, including HPB Business Managers, HPB Instock team, APB Deals Lead, APB Marketing, and HPB Sourcing POC to develop a cohesive deals strategy and execution plan for NA HPB.
-Work with 1P Retail POC to identify opportunities for strategic partnership.
-Partner with HPB Instock Lead to develop work back plans to accommodate varying lead times to ensure optimal deal assortment.
-Identify opportunities for cross-category or cross-product family deals, and partner with relevant stakeholders to execute.
-Run test and learn opportunities on varying deal/discount types.
-Develop clear and consistent mechanisms to track against forecast and ACES goals, and communicate to relevant stakeholders and leaders.
-Deliver in- and post- event recaps with key insights and best practices.
-Proactively contribute to WW APB Deals strategy, pillar, preparedness, and retro docs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on tight deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
