We are looking for a design/creative operations leader with hands-on expertise in developing full lifecycle operations systems to organize and streamline the delivery of marketing and product experiences. Collaboration with design leadership, visual designers, writers, product marketers, and product managers will enable the team to focus on designing delightful experiences for our customers.
You are a design operations and program management professional with 5+ years of experience managing the lifecycle of operations systems and projects, thriving in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You are an organized self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and competing priorities, and are always looking for ways to improve processes. You are methodical in building workflows across disciplines and different project lifecycles. You have robust experience working with vendors and partners to deliver complex creative projects and scale the impact of you and your team. You have no problem presenting–and defending–your ideas to partner teams and leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, legal, and external partners to assess project needs and develop content, creative, and messaging guides that resonate with audiences.
- Manage and coordinate all vendor engagements, driving contract negotiations, creative briefing, and program management
- Work with design team to concept new creative and campaign approaches and strategies.
- Proofread and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to requests and feedback from various stakeholders and ensure high editorial standards are met
- See projects through the whole creative lifecycle, from inception to deployment
- Keep abreast of trends in content and style reflected on various media and marketing channels and editorial sphere

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
