Key job responsibilities
• Own and drive creative direction for O&O channels, focusing on packaging and fleet design
• Develop and maintain comprehensive O&O design guidelines for global cross-functional teams
• Dive deep into creative briefs, translating them into impactful design and messaging that aligns with Amazon's brand
• Lead agencies independently with clear direction and a bias for action
• Build and nurture effective partnerships across creatives, program managers, marketing managers, and key stakeholders
• Think globally, considering the implications of design decisions on Amazon's presence worldwide
About the team
The Brand Design team within XCM guides brand coherence globally. We are the team responsible for setting the standard for visual brand expression through design mechanisms that support consistency and better brand standards across the company. We are also the team responsible for creating campaigns and style guides in support of seasonal retail events as well as physical owned & operated marketing. We collaborate regularly with cross-channel creatives and business stakeholders to deliver bar-raising design solutions for the customer.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Portfolio demonstrating brand campaigns, scaled across multiple touch points
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience creating brand guidelines
- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
- Design portfolio demonstrating brand campaigns scaled across multiple touch points

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
