Key job responsibilities
This role will work closely with the business, technical, marketing, and product teams to manage the Amazon Kids catalog. They will become an expert in children’s content, including a deep understanding of age appropriateness, educational value, and more. This is a multi-faceted job in a fun, start-up like environment that requires flexibility, agility, creativity and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities include:
- Ingest and remove content from the catalog by following pre-defined SOPs and workflows
- Own age appropriateness guidelines
- Troubleshoot issues, track defects and drive them to resolution by partnering with engineering teams
- Help drive automation of workflows
- Improve SOPs and troubleshooting documentation
- Provide oversight and guidance to our Content QA team

A day in the life
This role works closely with our acquisition (Business Development) team, marketing team, and tech teams to deliver content to our customers. You will track the titles that go in and out of the Amazon Kids+ subscription and influence how they are categorized by adding age, genre, character, and other tags for each piece of content. You will work with counterparts in the EU and Japan to refine ingestion SOPs to ensure that we launch content in a timely manner to delight customers.

About the team
The Kids+ content team is responsible for making and acquiring content for the Kids+ subscription service based on characters, worlds, and trends that kids want. We are a versatile, fast-paced team that spans both content strategy and operations. Content is king in our subscription and this role has a first hand impact on which titles customers have access.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
