AFPB Scaling, Strategy, and Innovation (SSI) Catalog owns and manages Catalog Quality for entire portfolio of 3500+ private label products. We are looking for Catalog Excellence Product Manager [CEPM] who is customer-obsessed, exhibits strong ownership, and is a strategic problem solver. This role requires deep diving and simplifying catalog creation for new product development ASINs and managing catalog quality for existing product portfolio, product changes, and rebranding. In process you will iteratively raise the bar on what an ideal catalog should look like on behalf of our customers and internal stakeholders and how to effectively create, control, and manage.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about food products, have basic food product development process know how, and exhibit outstanding project management abilities. They should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from improving catalog development mechanisms, to ensuring catalog readiness prior to new product launches and resets. Ideal catalog is culmination of inputs from 10+ cross functional stakeholders, you will act as an advocate on behalf of customers to influence these teams in improving the quality of their inputs, and create mechanisms to retain, measure, and improve catalog contributions in a time-bound manner.

Role Responsibilities: Catalog Excellence Product Manager [CEPM] will help drive launch excellence and catalog quality retention of Amazon Fresh Grocery Private Brands products. Your overall goal is to eliminate burdensome / repetitive processes and steps by questioning need, scaling co-existing tasks, inventing and simplifying, automating, or offshoring. Some of key responsibilities include:
• Deep dive and scale current product launch catalog process steps specifically around new item setup and ASIN readiness
• Serve as a catalog Private Brand SME for various cross functional teams within broader Amazon Fresh Grocery business, advocating for simplification of catalog management, reporting, and controlling functions on behalf of our internal Private Brand Cross Functional stakeholders
• Driving strategic catalog management Product Manager and F3RS SOPs, simplification projects targeted at reducing manual intervention in each of creation, verification, and management steps of catalog operations
• Lead scaling initiatives focused on improving ownership / accountability across various functional teams contributing to AFPB catalog, for example Quality, Product, Marketing, Distributor, New Store Launch, and Supply Chain, decentralizing from AFPB defect ownership to distributed ownership across Supply Chain Management (SCM), Instock, Category, and Merchandising
• Support ad-hoc catalog corrections [defect resolution] for active product portfolio to ensure 99.5% Product availability attributable to catalog readiness

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market.
