We are seeking a Business Operations Manager with a builder’s mindset who will accelerate adoption to procedures and policies across the organization. This role will connect the dots across the business across all levels. In addition, you will support in driving high visibility and strategic initiatives, develop new or improve existing standards, guidelines, tools, simplify processes and drive deliverables that help the organization operate efficiently. You must be able to build and maintain trusting relationships cross-departmentally with our internal business partners.
Our ideal candidate is an extremely organized and a detail-oriented operations professional with experience scaling operational functions across a 1200+ person organization. Key job responsibilities
Process Standardization and Strategic Planning:
• Support the rhythm of business standardizations, including processes and templates for business reviews, goal planning, and operational planning cycles.
• Create and manage the strategic planning calendar for the CCR organization.
• Develop mechanisms to drive automation in weekly S-team and monthly Board of Director reports.
Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement:
• Proactively identify and address business operations-related gaps and needs through strategic problem-solving.
• Establish baseline metrics and reports to support the development of new practices and goals.
• Develop and socialize enablement plans, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Responsible for maintaining process documentation and auditing internal knowledge repositories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal business partners from finance, legal, HR, GCP, and other departments.
• Connect with other Business Operations roles within and outside the CCR organization to share learnings, best practices, and distill global trends.
Program and Project Management:
• Own program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicate results to mid-senior leadership.
• Manage high-visibility and strategic initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Information Management and Technology:
• Own the organization's file storage system and partner with the Technology team on migration plans.
• Leverage tools such as Amazon WorkDocs, Asana Workfront, Quip, Box, Tableau, and Salesforce/Budget Tool for efficient operations.
Special Projects and Ad-hoc Responsibilities:
• Take on special projects as identified by leadership, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

The Operations and Technology team is an embedded service team within the Communications & Corporate Responsibility (CCR) organization. Their primary responsibilities are to support employees in sustainability, community impact, and communications roles. The team delivers secure, centralized technology, scalable programs and processes, and develops resources and services that boost the culture, productivity, and efficiency of the CCR organization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
