As the Selling Partner business has rapidly expanded worldwide, we need to scale our financial planning and reporting models. In this role, you will focus on building and enhancing critical financial models, uncovering key insights, and communicating your findings to key stakeholders.
In addition to your core analytical abilities, you will also contribute to the development of policies, processes, and tools to address Seller-facing challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position requires a critical thinker with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports.
- Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel and other data management systems.
- Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.
- Build financial model, sensitivity analysis and provide recommendations for new business initiatives.
- Conduct impactful data analyses to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and effectively communicate complex financial insights to drive critical business decisions through clear, concise, and tailored written and verbal presentations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Excel
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced SQL and Excel experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
