As a Business Analyst with CXO, you will work closely with other stakeholders (finance, operations, program and product managers), and will join a rapidly growing business, covering both North America and our upcoming expansion in the EU.
The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics. He/she has experience with data modeling, ETL design and business intelligence tools, and has hand-on knowledge on columnar databases such as Redshift and other related AWS technologies. He/she is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoys working in a fast-paced team that continuously learns and evolves on a day to day basis.
Finally, to be successful in this role, you must exhibit the ability to influence business owners, and support thoughtful decision-making through data and analytical story telling.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Interfacing with business customers, gathering requirements and developing analytics models and data-sets for deep dive
• Identifying data quality issues across the various platforms at Amazon
• Extracting and combining data from various data sources
• Design and build data visualization tools to provide scalable solution for self-service metrics reporting
• Partnering with other analysts and engineers to build analytical solutions to deliver on business goals
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
• Propose and implement new business metrics for senior management reviews and work with the data engineer to design and develop data infrastructure to support these metrics for business growth
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using very large datasets
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market.
