Amazon.ca is looking for a bright, analytical, driven and customer-obsessed Vendor Manager for our Consumer Electronics business, supporting the Camera category. This individual will be responsible for own the strategic direction and management of key manufacturer (vendor) accounts.

Vendor Managers utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. This Vendor Manager will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers on Amazon.ca.


This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop and build strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis. Vendor Manager roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon and offer opportunity for greater responsibility and advancement into a variety of roles including Merchandising, Vendor Management and Inventory Management.
The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-tasking ability, and quantitative analysis.

Key job responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing a brand/vendor on Amazon.ca and driving growth of the business. It includes inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL)
- Experience in online retail
- Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
