As GREF AMER Regional Communications Manager, you will implement a communication and content strategy, ensuring that GREF employees in AMER are well-informed and aligned with GREF’s strategy and direction. The position is key to fostering a cohesive and engaged workforce in AMER, by listening, and embedding themselves into the region to drive effective global communication content, that supports GREF’s overall objectives.
As part of a dynamic global GREF communications team, your work will also support the education of Amazon employees on our best-in-class workplace experience and demonstrate how GREF inspires a culture of innovation for our corporate employees and external visitors.
This role would suit a tenacious, detail-orientated, and aspiring communications professional, with a passion for storytelling, comfort to lead through ambiguity, good stakeholder management skills, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business.
The successful candidate would report to the GREF Regional Communications Manager, and have a dotted line into the GREF AMER Regional Portfolio Director.
Key qualifications
• 5+ years professional experience in internal communications, PR, agency, or marketing and business management.
• Experience in implementing cross-functional marketing and communication programs
• Experience in driving and using digital platforms and tools to enhance internal communication effectiveness
• Experience understanding data and metrics to drive improvements and define success
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages
Preferred qualifications
• Previous experience in real estate and facilities, office culture, or employee engagement communications
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at all levels
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of time zones and languages
• Ability to juggle tasks effectively, excellent prioritization and time management
• Strong project management skills, handling multiple tasks and evolving priorities
• Adaptable and willing to pivot quickly to meet emerging demands
• Be a team player, and bar raiser
• Experience working cross-functionally to align communications efforts with broader organizational goals
Key job responsibilities
• Develop subject expertise of Amazon’s Global Real Estate and Facilities organization.
• Deliver the GREF AMER communications plan, as aligned to their business goals and objectives, and the Global GREF Communications strategy.
• Develop and own a strong communications partnership across the region. Proactively building trust and maintaining solid, cross functional relationships with the GREF AMER regional leadership team, and key internal stakeholders. Build and maintain mechanisms, SLAs, and ways of working between teams.
• Work with the GREF AMER leadership and stakeholders, to source and deliver original content, including articles, videos, and events, that shine a spotlight on our buildings, employees, and Amazon’s culture. Encourage elevation of content to the GREF global communications team, and down through the region.
• Own delivery of regional communications for campaigns (initiatives, editorial, etc.) owning all stakeholder engagement in AMER.
• Deliver news and updates across the regions to ensure all GREF employees feel connected and informed.
• Be a valuable member of the GREF global communications team, actively participating, elevating good news, and looking at ways for continuous improvement and best practice.
• Elevate opportunities to raise the bar on GREF communications for Amazonians in AMER.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market.
