Position Title: Sr. Mgr, Tech Infra Prog Mgr

Position Responsibilities:
Manage planning of space and power capacity in data center. Own the supply plan for data center builds to meet customer usage and server rack requirement forecasts. Partner with several stakeholders such as demand planning, engineering, real estate, global expansion management, power, water, fiber, construction management and finance teams to plan data center capacity. Work closely with technical program managers responsible for data center build outs, network delivery program managers as well as design engineers to plan position level specifications for data centers. Optimize the data center positions specifications to maximize capacity made available from them, minimize the number of times they are changed to meet customer needs and deliver specifications in a timely predictable manner. Improve processes for developing position level specifications. Develop mathematical or simulation models to forecast available data center capacity based on known delivery constraints, engineering and construction parameters, validate and test those models to determine various scenarios for capacity availability. Present to senior leadership including at the director and VP level to inform and influence decisions. Work with databases and tools such as Redshift, SQL, Tableau, QuickSight or similar applications. Lead team through identifying capacity risks (e.g. power constraints) and developing mitigation strategies (e.g. increase power utilization or migrate racks to other DCs).
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of experience in capacity planning, business/data analytics, planning systems, or related. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate years of experience in capacity planning, business/data analytics, planning systems, or related. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): 1. Experience with process improvement, systems development, and project management, including managing, planning, organizing, scheduling and tracking of projects from initiation, planning, execution and delivery. 2. Experience in supply chain/transportation operations, direct-to-customer fulfillment/distribution center/operations, general management, or engineering operations. 3. Using lean process manufacturing/Six Sigma, performance metrics or related methodologies to increase efficiency within processes. 4. Performing data mining and conducting with data and statistical analysis utilizing databases and tools such as Redshift, SQL, Tableau, QuickSight, or similar applications. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week. 15% international travel required.
