Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a passionate, self-driven candidate for an exciting new role within our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program Team as a Senior Technical Product Manager supporting sales compensation programs. We are hiring an experienced Product Manager to join the AWS Partner Network (APN) Programs team to drive the strategic direction and technical roadmap for AWS’s top-tier, high-growth partner incentives.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple teams globally, including APN Partners, Partner Management, Programs, and various AWS departments (Sales leadership, operations, and Revenue operations) to support partners in reaching more customers through industry-leading programs. You will be responsible for understanding diverse customer needs and business impact, leveraging this knowledge to drive scalable engineering results across partner teams. In this role, you will occasionally leverage technical skills to create quick business solutions. The successful candidate will quickly evaluate data, business requirements, and customer needs to make strategic short and long-term decisions on team and engineering priorities. This high-visibility position requires clear and compelling communication at all levels of the company.
This role will require expertise in AWS partner programs and AWS sales process, to be successful you’ll constantly be looking to learn by diving deep in existing process and reaching out to other experts across the company. To be successful, you must be passionate about your work, self-motivated, detail oriented, embrace a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key job responsibilities
• Defining technical strategy, building a roadmap and working cross-functionally to lead development of requirements for a portfolio of Sales Compensation products
• Leveraging your high judgment to prioritize opportunities that drive the most strategic value; working with partner engineering teams to understand effort, set/track goals and make decisions on priorities from business/product/engineering teams.
• Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations to be presented to senior leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with data visualization/statistical analysis using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
