Lead a team of cloud experts focused on arming AWS sellers in AMER with AWS differentiators and strategic positioning. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of field-facing resources and removing barriers to adoption of the AWS computing platform across multiple industries. Your team will teach and evangelize differentiation concepts with AWS field sales teams, customers, and with cross-functional marketing, enablement, and product teams. As a strategic partner to sales and external customers, you will identify emerging signals and best practices to serve the broader organization. As a leader, you will aggregate trends, insights, and best practices across AMER to influence AWS’s sales and go-to-market strategies, as well as AWS product and development roadmaps.
We are looking for experience in one or more of the following: managing sales/BD teams, competitive intelligence and analysis, business value engineering, sales enablement, and customer-facing technology sales experience. The ability to successfully differentiate cloud services in competitive market segments is key.


Key job responsibilities
• Lead a team of professionals supporting the AWS field with questions on cloud and market intelligence, providing technical advice and insights
• Support, coach, and develop a large, deal-closing capability. Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals
• Align the organization around key goals and priorities through partnerships with sales leaders
• Articulate answers to questions about the AWS value proposition
• Collaborate with sales leaders and functional leaders within the organization
• Prepare and give business reviews to management (e.g., quarterly and monthly business reviews)
• Manage a team supporting high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market
• Track signals and identify opportunities to provide Cloud Intelligence with insight to improve offerings
• Contribute to the development of deal-support deliverables and educational deliverables
• Influence internal stakeholders on market realities, with the objective to further differentiate AWS’s value

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
